Manhattan Beach will be filled with live music and free concerts this summer. Mark your calendars for these special and ongoing events:

June 2-September 1: Concerts at Metlox: On Sunday afternoons throughout the summer, enjoy free concerts at Metlox Plaza from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. (Starting on June 30, after the Metlox concert is over, you can walk up Manhattan Beach Blvd. to Polliwog Park to hit the Concerts in the Park by 5:00.)

June 30-September 1: Concerts in the Park: Manhattan Beach's Concerts in the Park are the largest and most iconic concerts in the summer. These free concerts are held at Polliwog Park from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. every Sunday, beginning on June 30, and continuing through September 1. The June 30 concert is the special Salute To the Troops event, featuring the WWII pin-up style Satin Dollz. See the full calendar of concert events here.

July 11-August 29: Summer Concerts at Manhattan Village: Enjoy live music every Thursday night from July 11 to August 29 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Plaza at Manhattan Village. Spend $75 or more in same-day sales and get a branded Manhattan Village fleece blanket (one per person while supplies last).

July 31-August 1: Shakespeare By the Sea: Not a concert, exactly, but free Shakespeare in the park is about as "summer" as it gets. Enjoy Richard III on July 31 and Love's Labour Lost on August 1 at Polliwog Park.

Ongoing Live Music

Hennessey's Manhattan Beach: Most Fridays and Saturdays, Hennessey's Tavern features live music starting at 9:00 p.m.

mbWINEco: Every Saturday, mbWINEco features live music from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Enjoy light bites from MBWineCo or order from Tin Roof Bistro next door.

Pancho's: Pancho's fills in your mid-week void of live music by featuring guest musicians on Tuesday and Wednesday nights from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

SandBar66: SandBar 66 features live music on Thursday through Sunday evenings.

Shade Hotel: Head over to Shade Hotel on Friday and Saturday nights from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. for live music, cocktails, and light bites. We've put the most recent schedule below but you can always see the upcoming schedule here.
