Take the Shuttle to the Manhattan Beach Fireworks

Headed to Sunday's holiday fireworks in Manhattan Beach? Take away the headache of finding parking, and take the free shuttle instead.
The city of Manhattan Beach is offering a park-and-ride shuttle service for the Skechers Manhattan Beach Holiday Fireworks from 2:00 to 10:00 p.m. There will
be 8 shuttles running continuously throughout the posted times. Park for free at the Northrop Grumman parking lot, and get dropped off in downtown Manhattan Beach.
Free Parking Location:
- Northrop Grumman Parking Lot: Aviation Boulevard and Space Park Drive (Google Map)
Shuttle Pick-Up/Drop-Off Locations:
- Downtown: Valley Drive between Manhattan Beach Boulevard and 10th Place (Google Map)
- Northrop Grumman Parking Lot: Aviation Boulevard and Space Park Drive (Google Map)
Taking Uber/Lyft or another rideshare option? Have the driver drop you off at the Northrop Grumman parking lot and take the shuttle downtown.
Holiday Fireworks Attractions
Downtown will start filling up in the mid-afternoon with folks jockeying for a space on Manhattan Beach Blvd., and with people headed to the Skechers snow park on the upper south parking lot above the Manhattan Beach Pier. The afternoon schedule will be as follows:
3:00 to 6:30 p.m.: Mira Costa carolers will stroll the streets of downtown.
4:00 p.m.: The Skechers snow park opens to the general public at 4:00 p.m., with five 50-foot snow runs for sledding and two snow play areas. (For snow park admission, bring food donations, unwrapped toys, or cash donations for the YMCA Adventure Guides charity.)
4:00 p.m.: Santa and his float will be on Manhattan Ave.
4:00 p.m.: The Pointbreaks, a youth band, will perform.
5:00 p.m.: The Mira Costa Jazz Band will perform.
7:00 p.m.: Fireworks will begin promptly, rain or shine.

The following street closings will be in effect on Sunday:

Manhattan Beach Boulevard – The Pier to Manhattan Avenue :: 6am to 11pm
Ocean Drive – 11th Street to Center Place :: 6am to 11pm
1:00 P.M. Sunday
Manhattan Avenue – 9th Street to 15th Street : 1pm to 11pm
Ocean Drive – 10th Pl. to 12th Street : 1pm to 11pm
Bayview Drive – 11th Street to Manhattan Beach Blvd : 1pm to 11pm
11th Street – Ocean Drive to Highland Avenue : 1pm to 11pm
11th Place – Ocean Drive to Highland Avenue : 1pm to 11pm
Center Place – Ocean Drive to Bayview Drive : 1pm to 11pm
12th Street – Ocean Drive to Bayview Drive : 1pm to 11pm
