BOBS from Skechers, Skechers' animal-themed charitable collection, has just celebrated $11 million in donations to animal welfare organizations, assisting more than two million shelter pets over the past eight years.

Alongside its donation milestone, BOBS also granted "Paws for a Cause" scholarships to two college students who submitted winning shoe designs. Collegiate designers Teeny Nadeau of Cal
State Fullerton and Maki Shigetani of USC - whose winning designs were inspired by their own rescue pets - were each awarded $10,000 scholarships on
behalf of the Skechers Foundation.

The company also
honored rescue shelters personally selected by the Paws for Cause winners, teaming up with national non-profit partner
Petco Love to present Los Angeles- and Orange County-based spcaLA and MeoowzResQ with
$10,000 grants of their own.

During the ceremonies, BOBS and their partners also helped a total of five dogs and kittens from SPCA LA find their new forever homes.

Throughout
the month of June, BOBS from Skechers will conduct its annual register
round-up, encouraging customers to round up their in-store purchases to
donate
to animal welfare organizations nationwide.
